This free application lets you know the value of any resistance, whether 4-band, 5 or 6.
In addition, unlike many free applications of this kind, with iResistor, you can thanks to its advanced reverse lookup algorithm, find the color code of resistance (again, 4, 5 or 6-bands) directly from a ohm value you enter!
iResistor also lets you know if the current value belongs to one of the resistor standards / norms (E6, E12, E48 etc..).
